This is placeholder template content, not legal advice. Replace it with a policy reviewed by a qualified attorney, especially if you serve players in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA).
1. Information We Collect
- Account information from Discord OAuth (Discord ID, username, avatar, email if granted).
- ARK game identifiers you provide (ARK/EOS Account ID, display name, platform).
- Order and payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
- Tribe membership, wipe registration, and gameplay-adjacent records tied to your account.
- Standard technical logs (IP address, request metadata) for security and abuse prevention.
2. How We Use Information
We use this information to operate the Service: authenticating you, processing purchases, delivering in-game items, running wipe competitions, and enforcing our Rules.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on Discord (authentication), Stripe (payments), and our hosting/database providers to operate the Service. Each processes data under their own privacy policies.
4. Data Retention
We retain account, order, and competition records as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us through Discord or the support email listed in Settings to make a request.
6. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect data, including never exposing RCON credentials, Stripe secrets, or database credentials to the browser. No system is perfectly secure.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
